Welcome to my blog! My name is Jevaria Bashir and I have created this blog for the purpose of investigating both the origins and outputs of human behavior from an interdisciplinary perspective (evolutionary psychology, sociology, anthropology, biology) and the feedback loop of output and origins.

What to Expect

I’ll generally post once or twice a week as I dive into books, research papers, historical texts, studies, news, and whatever else sparks my curiosity. Most posts will take a dissecting approach. I like tracing patterns in behavior, pulling apart arguments, and thinking through what they reveal about us.

My background is in Computer Science, so I naturally think in systems and logic. That lens will show up from time to time, especially when I’m thinking about technology and how it functions as an extension of human cognition and social structure.

My main interests lean toward sociology and storytelling. The way humans organize themselves and the way we construct narrative often overlap in fascinating ways, though I’m sure I’ll wander into many other areas as I go.

I’ll cite and reference everything I’m reading, both within posts and on a separate page, so you can see exactly what I’m engaging with and explore it yourself if you’d like.

This is a serious investigation for me, but it’s also something I genuinely enjoy. I’m following questions that feel alive, and this space is where I trace them as they unfold.
